A product brand that spans the boundaries of interior design and fashion, with an impressive, innovative texture and graphic design created by bold hand painting.
The company creates products that utilize the inherent texture and lightness of washi paper using "shifu," a cloth woven from water-resistant washi thread. Founded in 1961, the company was born from "Design House Kaze," a group of textile designers active in Kyoto, the city of dyeing and weaving.

Akiyo Sano
Born in Kyoto Prefecture in 1989. Textile designer/artist. Graduated from the Visual Design Department of Kyoto City University of Arts in 2012 and is currently working at a textile design office in Kyoto. In 2021, she launched the brand "textiletells," which conveys the charm of fabric.
