UZ Fabric will be participating again this year in "Kimosato," an event to find foster parents for kimonos, which will be held at the Ichida Residence, a nationally registered tangible cultural property in Ueno.
We have prepared a number of interactive events that can only be held with Kimosato. It will be a special three days where you can enjoy encountering objects and people while surrounded by the atmosphere of the historic Ichida Residence. Please come and join us! What is Kimosato? ( @kimosato )
"Kimosato" is an abbreviation for "Kimono Foster Parent Search."
It is a place where we take care of the feelings of the exhibitors and act as a bridge to pass the baton to the next owner. The origins of UZ Fabric actually began with this "Kimosato".
