At the end of this month, Uzu Fabric will be holding a collaborative event with Kimosato, the kimono adoption service that is the brand's roots! There will be an order taking event for Uzu Fabric's semi-custom kimono line, workshops using kimono fabric, sales of reused kimonos, and new Uzu Fabric products. It's a relaxed two-day event where you're welcome to just try on some items. Please feel free to come along!

Why not try turning kimonos that you no longer wear, or kimonos that you inherited from your grandmother but don't fit you, into clothes?

Semi-customizable items: dresses, coats, half-width bags - feel free to just ask! If you have a custom kimono or other item you would like to order, please contact us in advance to ensure smooth processing.

Workshop: Make accessories from kimono scraps Why not use kimono scraps from making "UZ Fabric" items to create your own unique accessory that will go well with both kimono and Western clothing? Choose from brooches that can also be used as obi clasps, earrings, and more.

・"Japanese-bound notebook making" workshop using kimono fabric. You can easily experience the ancient bookbinding technique that was introduced from China and developed in Japan.
Anyone with thread and a needle can bind a book, and it's a wonderful technique that can handle stains, damage, and missing or added pages. You'll have a fun experience while learning some trivia about kimono fabric.
