A special collaboration has been realized between "Daidaikanou," a modern art project created by Kabuki actor Hashigo Nakamura, inspired by a sensibility rooted in Japanese culture, and "UZ Fabric."

The first collection is the "Half-width Bag - KABUKU collection," which features items inspired by the beauty of Kabuki and Japanese traditions.

This model is based on the hemp leaf pattern of the costume from the Kabuki play "Yagura no Oshichi."
Oshichi was the daughter of a greengrocer in Hongo, Edo, who is said to have actually existed in the early Edo period. She was said to have committed arson in her desperate desire to meet her lover, and was burned at the stake. Her life, full of sorrow and passion for her love, was featured in Ihara Saikaku's "Five Lovers," and became widely known to the public. The elegance of Oshichi's kimono in Kabuki represents her good upbringing and purity. The hemp leaf pattern on the fabric also symbolizes the strong vitality hidden within her, and the endless energy for love.
