The UZ Fabric "H-series" is a series that puts a new spotlight on scraps that are produced during the production process of dresses and stoles, as well as kimonos that are damaged or dirty and can only be used as scraps.
The scraps collected in Japan are then shipped across the ocean and transformed into colorful round rugs using Indian handicraft techniques and unique sensibilities. Everything from the base mat to the fringe is made from scraps of kimono.
