A new series has been added to UZ Fabric's classic "Half-Width Bag," which is made by utilizing the shape of a kimono when it is untied and returned to its single-layer form. This "Kimono Bag" is not a traditional combination of kimono with other kimono, but is combined with new, modern fabrics, resulting in a design that further highlights the appeal of the kimono's texture and pattern.
The first is the Linen Series, which uses linen fabric for its cool, comfortable feel against the skin. The second is the Denim Series, which is more casual and uses denim that goes well with any outfit. Finally, there is the Leather Series, which matches perfectly with kimono fabrics but also has a modern personality. Each series has a lineup that further highlights the beauty of the original kimono patterns and texture.
The bag is large enough to easily fit an A4 file. It is neither too big nor too small, making it a comfortable size for everyday use. The shoulder strap is intentionally left unfastened, giving it a straight design that allows you to enjoy a wide fit. When folded, it resembles a rectangular single piece, reminding you that this product originated as a kimono.
The inside has an inner pocket, is lined with the same ultra-water-repellent material as medical gowns, and is fully reversible. It was designed with careful consideration for both design and ease of use. We recommend turning it inside out on rainy days.
One of the charms of this bag is that it looks different on each side when worn on the shoulder. You can also attach the included grip to the shoulder strap to make it more compact, depending on your preference.
